Activities (2010):

Patti-O Grill Duck Hunt & Benefit Party:  Saturday August 14, 10:30am-11pm.  Patti-O Grill, 1007 Old North Main Street, Clover, SC:  A great time was had by all at this event Saturday.  Almost 60 folks participated in the Duck Hunt-it was a perfect day for a long motorcyle ride!  Many more folks joined the gang at Patti-O Grill to eat good food, hear the great bands, and show their support for the Burned Children's Fund! We cannot thank Patti Imler, her family, her friends, and her loyal customers enough for all of their hard work...and yes, they do have the best burgers and fries EVER!!  Photo below:  Patti Imler and Stephen Pryor visit MUSC Children's Hospital on Friday August 20 to present a check for the proceeds of this great fund-raising event to members of the Pediatric Burn Team.  Thank you Patti, Stephen, and friends!

Columbia Professional Firefighters Association Local 793 Family Picnic Day:  Saturday August 23, 2008.  Thank you Columbia Firefighters for a wonderful picnic and the generous donation for Camp 'Can' Do!

River Dogs Sunday Family Fun Day:  Sunday August 24, 2008.  Many thanks to Richard Sheffield, Ken Gypin, Rocky Homesley, and Ken Evans for participating in this event.  More than 100 children and families received burn awareness and fire prevention information and the Fire Safety Temporary Tattoos were a big hit!

TGI Friday's in Murrells Inlet, SC donated the proceeds from their annual Bartender Olympics to the Burned Children's Fund and Camp 'Can' Do.  Pictured below: Jill Evans from MUSC accepting the generous donation from TGI Friday's Manager Josh Speck on September 26, 2008.

The "Some Gave All" Fallen Heroes Foundation visited MUSC Children's Hospital on Saturday September 27, 2008.  Membership in this foundation supports non-profit charitable organizations that honor fallen firefighters and police officers. Foundation members Henry and Barbara Hahn and Elena Nicholas presented the Burned Children's Fund and Camp 'Can' Do with a generous donation and included a print by Michael Israel that depicts a firefighter holding a child.  The print is to be placed outside the Burn Hydrotherapy Room in the Children's Hospital.  Pictured below (left to right):  Jill Evans, Coordinator of Pediatric Burn Services; Henry Hahn, Jr., "Some Gave All' Foundation; Shemika Campbell, CA, 7A Children's Hospital; Joann Kohler, RN, 7A Children's Hospital; Sonja Muckenfuss, Clinical Director Children's Hospital; John Sanders, Administrator Children's Hospital; Elena Nicholas and   Barbara Hahn, "Some Gave All" Foundation.
