For $500, you can make a big difference in the life of a burn injured child.  Healing of the surface burn wounds is only the first step in recovering from a burn injury.  The emotional, social, and psychological consequences of traumatic injury can interfere with the child’s normal day to day life…Camp ‘Can’ Do can help to heal those wounds by providing:

Unconditional love and acceptance

• A fun summer camp experience
• A chance to interact with others who have similar experiences
• The ability to make new friends and begin life-long relationships
• Inspiration from the other children
• Positive role models and mentors
• A safe place to heal emotional scars
• An opportunity to realize that they CAN DO anything!
