The Burned Children's Fund offers a free camp every summer for patients and former patients of the Pediatric Burn Service at the Medical University of South Carolina. Camp ‘Can’ Do is a fun-filled four day experience for pediatric burn survivors, supported totally by funds donated by corporations, businesses, interested associations, and, of course, the recycling of aluminum cans. Your organization has the opportunity to support this worthwhile endeavor. Camp 'Can' Do 2012 will be June 29-July 3 at our usual location Camp St. Christopher, Seabrook Island. Our sponsors day activities are planned for Monday July 2, this is a perfect time to come on out and see what our camp is all about. Please contact us for further information!
There are many different ways to support Camp ‘Can’ Do: - monetary donation to the general camp fund
- sponsor a camper
- sponsorship of a special camp event (firefighter games, teen's night out)
- sponsorship of specific camp items (camp t-shirts, hats, bookbags, water bottles - we have the capability to add your company logo to printed items)
- donations of camp equipment (disposable cameras, camper's packs, craft kits, flashlights, beach towels, etc.)
We are already looking forward to Camp Can Do 2012 (June 29-July 3, 2012) and are planning several special events for the children and teens as we celebrate our 16th year!
